Leadership School
1. Leadership School is a formal/informal course of instruction conducted by the Marine Officer Instructor, Assistant Marine Officer Instructor, Guest Speakers, and selected midshipmen leaders. The school uses lecture, guided discussion, and practical application to accomplish its goal. The school is conducted in one day prior to the first class of the semester.
2. Mission. Train midshipmen leaders in basic military knowledge necessary to fulfill their assigned duties.
3. Execution Commander's Intent. At the conclusion of the school, each midshipmen leader will have a thorough knowledge and be able to demonstrate the following:
a. Conduct physical fitness training/physical fitness assessment.
b. Accountability/responsibility and Command vs. Staff Relationships.
c. Conduct drill and ceremonies.
d. Counseling/EMI/discipline/code of conduct.
e. Recognition mechanisms.
f. Fitness Reports.
